Seriously?? You even lost 4 games.... I won 7 and got majority a- to s as grades. System is rigged.
I've given up on the placement system by now and am going to wait to start them this season so i might not get fucked.
Season 5: I place Silver 2 and end season at Silver 3, fair enough Season 6: I win 7 out of 10 games and I get placed bronze 1. What the fuck. Managed to smash the fuck out of people back to Silver 5 weeks before season end (pretty much didn't play ranked that season). Literally didn't put me through promos, just gave me silver. Season 7: Win 6 matches and get placed Silver 5. Players I'm against in placements are Silver 2/1, even a few golds. What the fuck. End the season in Gold 4
So apparently demoting in season 5 gives me shit enough mmr to place bronze 1 yet smashing people in season 6 didn't get me above silver 5.

I dont know why you put it in memes&games when it's actually a problem, because from what I observed too many people got placed in divisions they dont belong.
Well, I lost 6 of my placement games and got placed into Plat 1. I'm not complaining.
Happened to me last season, I ended season 6 at gold 5 and started season 7 at gold 3.
I haven't played any ranked yet, I haven't been playing much recently and have to get back into it first.
I got Silver 5 as a consistent Bronze 3 player.
You probably kicked ass in pre season then. If you climb further during pre season it takes that into account when you do your placements.
