Is Gold 5 worse than silver 1? My team is like Bronze 5.

I just got to Gold 5 after a winning most games from silver 3. And after I got to Gold 5, I lost first five games. The first four game I lost because my bot lane died millions of times. I am not kidding, millions times. The last game I lost because my top was 0-7, mid was 2-8. I am wondering if people boosted to Gold 5 then stop because they want the skin? I am tired of playing with silent retards. If you really want to have a skin in the end of the season, please play by yourself otherwise you will ruined other people's game.

Well, on op.gg, it shows that your MMR is Silver 2 level, meaning that you're still mostly going to get matched with/against mid-high Silver players, even though you're in Gold now. Based just on MMR, it's fairly likely you'll fall back to Silver 1, since you'll be losing more LP for losses than you gain for victories.

Nah you just got the trolls/feeders that are boosted marmosets. It sucks that nothing happens to players like that and the only thing Riot cares about is people typing mean things.

It depends on the MMR of the player. Gold 5 consists of 1.) Players that are actually gold 5 2.) Players that are climbing that have gold 3 MMR 3.) Players that went on a lucky streak and got promoted but are really silver 3-1 in skill
