I think that the new rune system will narrow the width of the players build and playingstyle. Some people loves FULL AP Heimerdinger for beat a top melee(sry darius:)), and Annie highly need MS runes.Someone loves money runes,or something etc. Many people find pleasures in construction of the original rune pages. I loves and very often use a full ARMR runepage when play a tank. Though we used to use the usual rune(ADorAP9,AR9,MR9,pen9,etc), but rioters please dont think everypeople use same runepages, dont forget many people have so many original runepages. I think the variety of runes have possibility to create new meta. To be sure, how to choice runes is a only way of summoners BRAIN(not hand) can affect the games strategy to win. so save its variation,fun of think. sorry terrible english.
Man I spent a fortune on the full sets of both Flat Energy and Energy Regen just to have them cause I was a Kennen otp at the time. I know the pain, one of the most expensive rune sets by far.
