When you miss being a smol indie company so much you change your logo to look as though you are a 3 man team pumping out your first mobile games.
riot be like: man there was a MASSIV amount of negativ feedback holy shit. we better get this thing live ASAP so people get used to it haha. also riot: man the positive amount of feedback about rotating gamemodes nexus blitz aram bans other stuff WAS OVERWHELMING we didnt get that much positive feedback in years... remove it.

It looks like they where shooting for a logo that is easier to put up on a billboard. I think it looks worse, but it definitely looks easier to advertise
