So I'm a bit older but I want to meme like you young people do. When I first saw the word meme I pronounced it me me and got laughed off the planet. Now that I know how to pronounce it, I want to know what you do to make those images and insert things. Do I need a software or is there a free way to do it? I feel like I have so much untapped power but I don't have the balls to ult. I mean try it.
I too was once like you. I tried making a "me me" only to fail miserably. I tried using only the finest memes, but kept failing over and over again. As for software, most of the time microsoft paint suffices. However, for some memes where you need more (such as text with shadows, transparency, more accurate cropping, etc, there is a free software called GIMP that I use. It is pretty much the free version of photoshop. And for gifs, you can use imgur.com to turn videos to gifs, or EZgif.com/ to make edits such as adding text or cropping it.
