I find it annoying that people give short guys grief about their height to the point that they sometimes develop an inferiority/Napoleon complex. I've even seen some people state that short men _should _ be undesirable to women because they have "bad genes" which honestly doesn't make sense to me. Very tall women sometimes also have trouble finding love partners because they can be viewed as intimidating or because guys don't want to appear short by comparison with their partner. It's all silly social norms and stereotypes that don't add up. If short men and tall women are undesirable, yet the children of a short man and a tall woman would likely be average stature due to blending of complex arrays of the alleles that influence height, then how can atypical height be viewed as a genetic defect when selecting a mate? Logically, outlying tall people should preferentially pair with outlying short people if average height is desirable (which is a premise I disagree with to begin with). Stunted growth could indicate a genetic disease, but it could more likely be mainly epigenetic or environmental factors, and there are many other genetic defects that don't provide visual clues or are disregarded so why should there be such focus on one specific indicator? For most short people, there is no underlying disease causing it, and they may even have genetic advantages such as increased lifespan since height is known to place strain on specific internal organs (causing extremely premature death in the exaggerated case of gigantism) and excess growth hormone is implicated in some types of aging.

He gets to be the only guy that can take his shoes off, and keep his socks clean. Probably planned from birth imo.
