We all end up alone because we are truly alone and nothing can change that. If minds are a circle, then the circles can never intersect. All thoughts about others and how they relate to you is your projection based on the evidence you see, the things you can't see but assume, and what you desire to be the case. Only you have these thoughts and no one can ever see these thoughts-in their varying contours, hues, and size (I am personifying thoughts)-that you see them in. No one else can see your thoughts in your light because it is tainted by their own. In this sense, we are always alone.
