The fact that he carried you doesn't excuse the flaming. He made the choice of being toxic.

I'd report. Nothing makes a victory feel more hollow than someone flaming the enemy team all game
If you're hesitant, take it to the extreme, it will help you make up you mind quickly. ( as in, they were hardcore flamers who said "kys", stuff like that )
Because they carried you doesn't mean they can stomp all over your face and flame you and your team.
Carrying a game doesn't give you any rights.
If you carried me but was toxic af, don't expect even the smallest "thank you" from me. I'm gonna report you because you were behaving poorly.
You don't have to be rubbing people's mistakes in their face, just like you don't have to flame in a game.
I've had games where if I died, the game was over. I "carried" the team to victory. Did I flame? No. Even when my teammates were caught, I just kept playing because I wanted to win.
In the end I thanked my teammates because I wouldn't have won without them.
Report. I would rather lose with a friendly team than win with a toxic one.

Full game shit-talking or flaming? "Hey, Shen, I'm gonna smash you in lane. We're gonna get that dragon. Baron's up, got any wards? WE'RE COMING DOWN MID!" If you talked it, then walked it, that's fine. If you got the kill, then dissed, that's poor sportsmanship.
Did he flame you (his own team) or the enemy team (aka BM) ?
Although both may be toxic im more inclined to report a player toxic to teammates. The BMing is between him and the losers to report.
Easy report. I report anyone who unironically uses GG EZ, team or enemy.
If someone is being toxic, they're being toxic.

Downvote me all you want, but I'd rather take a extremely toxic guy who would carry me than a good for nothing polite dude. And majority of you would too, but you don't want to admit it.

There's always that one guy... Some people should either learn to be gracious winners, or learn that old saying "If you don't have anything nice [or at the very least, constructive] to say, don't say anything at all."
I don't care about the insults, the offense, the racism, the vulgarity, because, obviously these issues get addressed in general pretty strongly, so we're in a good place as far as legitimate "hate speech" goes. But just straight arrogance plus a rude, condescending demeanor, plus quick, easy to type phrases that carry loads of disrespect and poor sportsmanship all add up to a disappointing and unenjoyable experience in end-game chat.
I always let it go. If I am being flamed by an obviously good player, I don't mind it at all, just use the mute button. On the other hand, if it is some braindead 0/10 kid flaming everyone around for their incompetence, a juicy report follows.
For example, if the old tarzaned, who got permabanned for his behaviour flamed me, I think I would have even apologized to him.
I also remember that one game where I was ranking up an account on a different server, I flamed the hell out of my support, and after the game, he gave me an honor. I asked him why would he do that, I flamed him so much. He said: "idc u play well".
I don't understand why you'd report to begin with. Toxic players, and toxicity as a whole, will never completely go away, not to mention this is a competitive game, which only breeds toxicity. I'm not excusing toxic behavior, but it's pointless to do anything about when it will never go away.

Sore winners are so obnoxious. I love sharing respect on the rift as rare as it is. Like when I see a decent play from an enemy I will think "that guy deserves the win" however that is immediately torn away if they start typing some BM BS.
