Adc just means attack damage carry. That includes both ranged carries (marksmen) and melee carries (fighters)

Marksmen is a specification for ranged marksmen rather than all of them.
Yasuo, Tryndamere and Yi for instance are melee ADC´s.
I think that's sort of the point. People don't call Yi or trynd just "ADC" they say "melee ADC" and most people just call ranged ones "ADC"
same shit as changing pink wards to control wards. in the latest g2 vid they also call it pink ward. will never change, riot can change whatever they want noone gives a fuck.
