The first classification level for your rank is how you play the game! The next level of classification will be Time of the Week that you play. That's right, your rank on a Wednesday at 4pm will differentiate from your rank on a Thursday at 6am, giving your real strong play periods distinction from your real weak ones! The next level will be the Champion that you play at that time! All you OTPs out there will really appreciate this, as this means you can go so far as Challenger without being bogged down by being inept at literally every other champion in the game! https://i.imgur.com/7spOC30.png?1
The next level is something I'm sure you folks out there understand the reasoning behind already! That's right! Positional Ranks return! As such, with the Ranked Matrix, you will have just over 2 MILLION ranks to achieve! With that many, your overall rank is determined by your highest rank alone, meaning all those bronzes and woods ( new queue below Iron, btw) don't matter compared to your CHALLENGER Solo/Duo Friday at 6:00 AM Yasuo Bottom Mage! Show off with Dynamic ranked borders on both your profile and your loading screen! As for matchmaking, it'll work how it always has, so happy hunting!
Rewards update! With all these ranks available, achieving Gold with any champion in any condition will grant you their victorious skin! If you have Victorious skins from previous seasons, don't worry! Achieving Gold with a Champion in any other situation grants a ticket per situation beyond the first that can be used in raffles held by our lovely CONTENT CREATORS to win Creator related Victorious skin Chromas!
As well, LIMITED Gold and Ruby Chromas will be available at the end of the season via an event pass for 2000RP! All you have to do to grab these bad boys is play 5k hours in the 2 week window they are available or spend about 5.3 Billion USD on tokens and chests from the store! This will take place in the stead of events such as Snowdown, URF, and the Hallowing, but we will bring those back at various intervals.
The Victorious Ward for each season will be available from the shop during the last week of the season for 1000 RP, coming with a special loading screen border for any one Victorious Champion skin for only 2000 RP!
