Mastery for ARAM

I know it's not the Rift but I feel like the rework to scoring champion performance in ARAM should have been shadowed by the mastery system. Such a bummer to see my mastery 6 champion waiting on one last "S" token to reach mastery 7 get nothing for a stellar ARAM game. Thoughts?[slayer-jinx-unamused]
