I'd like to know also. I think it would add a bit more strength to his persona if the host was somebody important and stronk.

I mean we get to know Rhaast's and Varus's hosts who are all pretty capable fighters and such. Would make sense that Aatrox' last host was a strong enough vessel for Aatrox to get so much use out of.
