I just couldn't help it anymore.

Everything was so broken that I just wasn't having fun anymore...

So yeah, I had to finally uninstall league.

and wow.

and discord.

Actually to be frank I wiped my entire fucking harddrive because a power outage absolutely fucked my PC. Reinstalling though! :D

Wow. Rest in Peace. I know that feel when your pc decides to go haywire. Hopefully you can recover soon and see you on the rift. (Not my rift though, you filthy NA scum /s)

This is not quite funny because I actually uninstalled and thank god, we do not have power outages in Germany due to being a First World Country (heheh grunt)

But now, to be more serious, I had to uninstall because of my last 30 games, I could win 4. The matchmaking was so rigged that my workmate, a DOTA player, just shaked his head and agreed it was bull, so for sure not Dunning Kruger effect or shit like that. It was just not normal to have the 0/14/1 Fioras and Ahris as premade where the more expierenced premade left her alone and learned nothing so we all had to suffer.

Damage is not funny with Zed that just mashes buttons like crazy and wins. I never play Rengar because it's not my thing but I picked him for the lulz in the last games --- I 2-shotted people from a bush with 2 items without they could've done anything about it (because warding the bush would be in my jump range).

Making fun of this is like making fun of cancer. It works for black humour and a short laugh, but the underyling matter - that LoL has a bad reputation as a competitive game growing - should not be a laughing matter.

My cousin, a diamon player, and I were talking over discord. While I was of course totally pissed, he laughed and said: "Yes, it's 100% true, but I love this bullshit gameplay". [sic] And I do not wish to play games where the outcome could've been figured out by rolling dice and "bullshit gameplay". Greetings, a guy that is here since July 2010.

a power outage absolutely fucked my PC

You got my sympathies on that one. Has happened to me too. Except after the 3rd time, I bought a UPS. Plus a smaller UPS for the modem + main switch. So even in case of a blackout, I will still be online and can still play.

Also had to deinstall recently, I needed those ~25 GB of disk space on my SSD C:.

And reinstalled on the HDD E:.

I also had to reinstall like 3 times a week ago.

8.13 really fucked up the game, technical issues-wise, on my side.

We had major power issues while my house was being remodeled. I got one of these UPSes and it's protected my PC from *checks event counter* 51 outages so far. I highly recommend getting a decent UPS.

I might need to move on myself, I continue to prove Bronze 5 is impossible to climb out of as support. Before you downvote (and you will anyway, because this scenario never happens to literally everyone else, no BS) I have never seen teamplay in Bronze for 3 seasons now, otherwise I would be Gold by now.

Because I had corrupted game files

Bruh I had the exact same problem last year just 2 days before school started. Power went out during forced windows update and it screwed my drive. Spent the next day wiping it.

Linna Excel7/6/2018, 11:59:21 PM1 votes

This is why I bought a decent APC.

although apparently not that reliable, you might consider one of those battery stations or whatever they're called that function to supply power when the current stops

won't help with internet outage, but it might save your drive if it actually works

the other solution is a gaming laptop. Nothing feels quite so satisfying as keeping your device working when everything else goes off XD
