Naaahh.. They just hired way better cinematic team then who they hired for game programming..
League has just been a scheme for Riot in order to raise money to produce K/DA.

if the programmers, client team, bugfix team and balance team would work 10% as dedicated and hard as the musik and cinematic team, this game would be godlevel.

i dont get it yet i do??? the title says they try to invest in the game by using music (aka login screens) and cinematic pertaining to the RIft now they are making different games to promote the said cinematics/music also bonus points when band groups are involved.
That's the Pokemon model, and Pokemon is the largest media franchise on earth (Granted, you have "events" and stuffed toys to consider, but that's more of an audience difference)
