When you want to give up, but your top and mid laner won't surrender

One time on ARAM our went AFK. We somehow won with:

Eh. Even if it does ed up a win, I'd rather just leave when the game gets too aggravating and go do something else.

Had this happen. Team tried to early surrender. I was the one vote that didn't. "I believe in Talon/Jinx"

Sure enough, we won.

I had a similar situation once.

Me (as Miss Fortune) and my support were doing really well. Top, mid and jungle were clearly behind but not quite to the point of "We're tanks that are more squishy than our marksman". We had a failed early surrender at 15 minutes with my vote being the only veto. Our Top lane Maokai goes "why didn't you surrender this?" To which I say "wait 5 more minutes, my one vote won't matter then."

In the last of those 5 minutes, I score a big multikill and we get a few objectives in turn. After the big play, I ask "Still want to surrender?" Maokai immediately calls for a surrender and it fails 1-4. Our jungler went "MF has this, so stick it out and keep her alive". Maokai's continual reaction was screaming "but I don't wanna be carried" and it was what kept a smile on my face for the rest of the match until we won.

I wanted to give up too lol. I'm guessing the yasuo was either getting boosted or he was one tricked AF.

I came back after years away (quit in Season 4) and played for 2-3 weeks. In that time, of all the games I played, there were only 2 games where the team ahead by 5 kills didn't win. 2... out of nearly 100.

This whole 'turns into a win'... yeah just doesn't happen.

This just happened to me lol. I was top my friend was mid we refused to surrender. I backdoor'd and ended the game

Happened a few days ago, our top was AFK and our mid was feeding like a restaurant/ probably inting. Funnily enough, I was able to carry that game EXACTLY BECAUSE our top and mid weren't playing, so I could take all of their CS and EXP, I got to level 18 in 19 mins, at 22 I was full build and could basically 1vs5, which, at one point while the enemies were destroying our Nexus, I did.

Not to mention the shutdown gold after our mid inted. I got an item just from killing a level 14 poor enemy Yasuo. Tell me Kindred isn't a carry champion again, I dare you.

TLDR I won because I had 1 AFK and 1 inter.

Tbh being able to win a game like that is one of the things really good about lol. Who doesn't like making god-like outplays? Who doesn't like playing a 4v6 (lol) and win the game? Yesterday I had a inting support(thresh) who never landed a single hook in the whole game... don't even ask me how, but I went 24/9 and got solo triple kill, leading to our win.

I never surrender in ranked. I barely do so in norms because there is always a possiblity that the enemy will throw the game.

Basically when you lose your lane and think just cause you lost lane, the game is over. (Or got counterjungled nonstop)
