Follow-Ups:

  • Mac voice still not working properly Reached out to Apple for assistance (Checking entitlements).

**Server Stuff: **

  • Vintage Icon Borders Not Appearing (5/17, ~4 days) A server change leads to PS noticing borders aren’t visible properly in loading screens. Investigation shows the wrong ID was added for Project Skins, causing borders to fail. A redeploy with the correct config fixed the problem.

  • Players unable to log into Chat (5/17, ~27 minutes) A server change is implemented, and PS notifies the NOC players are being disconnected from chat. After checking the changelist, steps could have impacted the chat system. The server changes were rolled back, fixing the chat issues. Investigation into the change steps and why it caused the system to fail are ongoing.

  • Game servers freezing (5/20, ~73 minutes) A few game servers start to have reconnect spikes, which coincide with increased game crashing reports. NOC resets the affected servers, and players are able to correctly rejoin the problematic servers.

  • Game servers freezing (5/21, ~ 2 hours) A few game servers start to have reconnect spikes, which coincide with increased game crashing reports. NOC resets the affected servers, and players are able to correctly rejoin the problematic servers.

  • Players unable to log into LoL (5/22, ~ 71 minutes) NA starts to see increased numbers of NA logins failing, far above normal levels. A quick analysis of the symptoms point to a recent change. Rolling back the change bring login problems back to optimum levels. Investigation into the change steps and why it caused the system to fail are ongoing.

Trying out a few recipes from my cookbook and may even bake a cake later, as a test run for this other recipe I found online. Depending on how the cake goes, I may bake the same cake for a friend's birthday this saturday. :) But other than that I've been gaming a bit here and I GoT-ta continua watching game of thrones before the spoilers hit me (currently at season 3, oof).

As a Mac user, I have always been curious about this because this issue has been around for quite a long time (I think since OSX mojave or something). What are the details of the issue; is it a hardware issue, apple being stubborn (not letting the client access the microphone) or some sort of software issue?
