Seeing as the Rift may get an update why not update the tutorial? I've got a few ideas that would introduce new players to the more intricate gameplay features rather than running down mid and taking down towers and then the nexus.

#Champion Selection

The Champions offered should be those offered in each region. Found here https://support.leagueoflegends.com/entries/21576124-Choosing-the-Right-Champion#h2q3

The announcer should start off the selection with:

"These are Champions offered in your region to those who are Level 6 and under. Once you've achieved that level you will be moved to the main champion rotation. The main rotation will change every week."

This line is to make sure any confusion new players have when their rotation is changed are dismissed.

Then when the player selects that champ (not locking in). The game would go into small details about the champ such as "[Champ name] is a [Role] mainly played in the [Top/Mid/Bottom/Jungle]"

Gameplay

The game would give instructions on how to open the shop and then recommend that the player build the recommended build for their selected champion, "however you may choose to build otherwise" as an ending statement.

After taking down the second tower the game would pause momentarily and direct the player to the Dragon. This would be the secondary quest.

"Congratulations on taking down a turret! You're team has earned quite some gold. Let's increase that gold by slaying the dragon. The dragon is a very powerful monster, but with teamwork your team can secure it and earn extra global gold."

If the player chose to do the quest then their team would group at dragon and fight it.

After taking down an Inhibitor the game would pause again and move the camera to the Baron.

"The Baron grants a global buff increasing your team's overall power. Defeating it will in your team's full power and the reward is great."

#Ending Ideas

-Have an option to turn off the tutorial notifications throughout the game as most people smurfing just do it for the free XP.
