When to start ranked?
I'm about to be lvl 30 and i was wondering when it would be a good time to start playing ranked games. i have at least 2 champions to play at every role and 2 rune pages. Also, i have 150 normal wins.

Honestly, just go into ranked when you feel like you are ready. I have over 1000 wins in normals and i still dont do ranked, (well not solo anyway). Just remember that no matter what happens it is still a game; so while your out there just have fun with it.
Having 2 champs per role is more than it seems a lot of players are capable of. I jumped into Ranked waaaay back in Season 1 (when Ranked was new). I hated it. So much, in fact, that I didn't even play Ranked at all in Season 2.
In Season 3, I went back at it because I wanted to increase my challenge and see what all the international fuss was about. It's a different game, that's for sure.
If you're feeling anxious, a great place to start is the Normal Draft Pick category. You can learn about bans and counters, etc, and the Normal Draft seems to be a little more serious and comparable to Ranked than the Normal Blind Pick. If you're already playing Draft Pick and you get the basic ideas of counters, team comps, and bans, then jump into Ranked and test out the water.
You'll be placed in a tier based on your first 10 Ranked games, so if it's going poorly, you might want to drop back down to Normal Draft and practice some more with specific champs that are currently strong.
In the end, what I realized is that it's just a game. I like that I'm climbing the Ranked ladder pretty quickly now, but even that didn't happen until I spent a few months in Ranked, learning how to play more competitively.
My personal standard is five champions to play at every role that you are either solid with or above decent. Obviously be level 30 and have appropriate mastery pages set up. I'd suggest having more then two rune pages, most people use at least around 4-6 from what I've experienced and the people I know. So I'd say keep playing normals and practicing what you feel you are weak at until you have those rune pages filled out to meet any situation. After that it's about making sure you are confident in your play and that you are in a good mood (don't play ranked pissed off you'll make terrible decisions). It's better to take some time and play extra normals before doing ranked then to jump into ranked too soon.
The biggest thing is make sure you are comfortable in every role at least slightly. If you have enough champs to play Draft and you're versatile I suggest to start ASAP. In my experience ranked is not only a better experience than normals but I find a hell of a lot less people that play toxic and more good sports and otherwise respectable people. There's always going to be a bad apple occasionally, but ranked imho is just better for the game and the challenge.
Suffering from ladder anxiety maybe? Or at least I am.
I am about in the same situation as you, and am fearful that playing I'll do horribly if I start ranking immediately. Luckily I have a bunch of friends already ranked that will be taking me with them on their ranked adventures to ease that anxiety.
I would start ranked With a duo partner, that you know is good.
Bronze V is not GOOD.
You'll hate to here it, but you'll probably be stuck in the lowest rankings until you have around 300-400 normal wins worth of experience.
-Unless you get lucky and your team carries you, then you'll be stuck at silver 4 and 5 with the baddies who usually don't even play ranked after their qualifiers -
My personal opinion? Whenever you feel like it. None of us are pros and we should all be playing this game for fun. If you have fun in ranked, then play it. If you don't, then stick to normals.
I jumped in when I hit 30 and got ranked to S1. I had 2 rune pages and maybe 25 champions. I didn't have a role I preferred and was happy to fill. However, I had some fun and won some games. At the end of the day, that's what it's all about.
Honestly, whenever you think your ready too. You learn a lot more in ranked games than normals.
