Question about LP gain and loss rates.

SO I recently got into bronze 4 and noticed some LP changes. I used to gain 20 LP per win, but now I only gain 10. That was no problem for a while except that when I lose a game I lose 20 LP. I don't understand how that is fair. How come if I win 2 games in a row and lose one I lose all the LP I earned. My friend is in bronze 4 and he earns 20 LP per win and loses 20 LP per loss. That sounds completely fair. I don't understand why I gain less LP. Also that is unfair that I lose so much LP per loss, that makes it so much harder for people get out of bronze. I am trying, but this LP rate is messing me up. I lose one game and there goes 20 LP, but I win one game and I only gain 10 LP. If anybody knows why this is happening please tell, I just want to get out of bronze.
