i have been playing league of legends for a year now and found ryze to be one of my favorite champions but as the time went on and new champions came to the fields of justice i felt that his looks were getting a bit out of date! So i did my research online to see if there was any plans with ryze but hardly found any information. are you guys planning to do anything with ryze visual wise? if so what exactly do you have in mind? :D 
His visuals really need a tuning. Not as bad as Sion, however his skills look extremely outdated. The worst looking skills are his E and his ultimate. His E seems to stand out too much while bouncing. It looks like a purple M&M floating around, while his ultimate just looks old and unfitting, especially when you see the AoE marker on nearly half the screen when you use his ultimate. Maybe make his ultimate look like electricity is flowing from the champion and blasting out into the ground, with an AoE marker on the champion similar to corki's Q ( an outline of the radius).
I totally agree with you and I would also very much appreciate a rework/visual upgrade so ryze. He is cool but his character is a little outdated and he has been around for a long time. So I totally support this idea.
