I think people should start playing double bruiser bot. it just dominates most ADC, Support combos. I dont know why it isnt played very often though. What do you think about double bruiser bot?

It can work, but if you're up against people who are good you'll probably lose if the game goes past 25 minutes. A Marksman is going to out scale you and win the game. If you're going to try this I'd recommend blind pick. :p

"Kill lanes" are a thing. The double bruiser bot comp falls under that category. They are also very easily countered and require that you close the game out quickly.

I used to see this a lot in blinds for S2. It caught me off guard the first couple of times, but then quickly dropped in effectiveness. It is very easy to counter a bruiser combo in bot, so I don't think you will ever see this become the norm.

Playing Against

  • Bruisers are usually melee. Save for Elise and Jayce, it is going to be very easy to keep your distance against the comp. You should also abuse this and call in your jungler often as they will have to take on a lot of risk to approach your tower.
  • Wards op. It is really easy for you to maintain safety in the early laning phases with aggressive warding. This severely diminishes the zone of threat available for the bruiser duo.
  • Early level advantages should be respected. Play safe when your targets hit key level advantages. High burst potential from champions at levels 2,3,4 and 6 are things to look out for.
  • Time is your friend. The longer the games goes on, the less effective your opponents will become. Focus on keeping your farm up and you will eventually out scale them by a wide margin.

Playing As

  • Select a smart combo. I've seen combos like Garen/Taric be very effective against especially squishy lanes. Blitz/Alistar are a popular combo for this as well. You want to make sure the kits of the champions you select have strong synergy. Hard stuns and gap closers are devastating when used properly.
  • Wards op. Take control of lane vision early and maintain it aggressively. You need to make sure you prevent enemy brush control. This means you should pink ward aggressively and liberally.
  • Know when to freeze. Assuming you picked well, your duo should have strong kill potential through most of the laning phase. Abuse this by freezing the lane near your tower. If the enemy duo respects your damage, they have no choice but to lose experience and gold. If they do not respect your damage, you get free kills.
  • Time is against you. Generally speaking, a conventional ranged carry will out scale your lane as time goes on. Make sure you push to close the game out as soon as you have an advantage with strong group pushes and swift swings from tower to tower to prevent the enemy team from stalling and farming.
