Demotion games

Riot, can you please put in some kind of mechanic to prevent being demoted after multiple games with an afk on your team? I just lost 2 games in a row due to people leaving/not connecting. I realize afk loss prevention cannot be implemented because it can be easily exploited, but honestly, something needs to be done. This is ridiculous.

Simply reporting the offender accomplishes absolutely nothing. At worst they can't play for the next hour or so. There is no permanent repercussion for them unless they do it regularly and are actually reported each time. I am just frustrated that I am playing at a higher level than my current division, but I am moving DOWN simply because other people are having issues.
