All ELO hells have a problem. If you can overcome that problem, you're ready to go higher.

Low Bronze ELO hell is full of trolls, if you can abuse the enemy trolls and mitigate your trolls' damage, you win.

High bronze lacks coordination and communication. If you can create plays, you win. (And not that I didn't say do plays, but create plays. Stunning the enemy junger with dragon' aggro on is creating a play. 1v1'ing him with 2-3 enemies mia is doing plays. One of them is hit or miss and give a good boost, the other just slightly pushes the win your way.)

Silver has selfishness problems. If you simply agree to follow your teammates and make their play better instead of tryign to lead, you will win.

Low Gold is imbued with themselves, always thinking they should be higher. If you're simply patient, and cope up with jerks, you will rise.

High Gold is full of people believing they're better than they truly are. Jsut focus on winning your lane, and give a strong impression. Your team's morale will rise really high, and the enemy will start flaming each otehr for the stupid jungler pick or X/Y failed gank/ult.

Plat is simply full of baddies. Group up, play the game, win.

Diamond is full of "to-be-pro" players. They will try to innovate and act all cool for their 7 viewers on twitch. Fun fact, there is a reason that their Top Alistar pick suck. Punish him.

Challenger is empty. Just queue when they are already in game, you're better than Diamonds anyway.

As someone who has, in the last 3 months in fact, pulled himself from bronze 5 to Silver 4 Promo, let me share with you what I see.

In low bronze is where you learn to be a leader, regardless of your role. Do well to start the game, and find that one other person that doesn't suck, and get them to start following you. Suddenly you have the whole team behind you and the enemies are still farming solo or splitting. FORCE coordination, not through strong words, but by being worth following. This is easier on a tank/bruiser (so top lane/jungle is the easiest to do this in).

High Bronze/Low Silver is actually, in my experience so far, the worst place. You start getting queued with Silver 5 players, who are unable to be dropped to bronze. If they got lucky and won out on their initial promo, it doesn't matter how bad they are, they are still silver. Making it through here is all about law of averages. If you take your leadership skills, and you take your best champ and you slam against the queue... if you have the skill you will eventually break out. I took me 4 different promo's to get out of bronze...

If you want to get better at this game, the biggest hint I can give you is to quit blaming everyone else. Sure, some games are bad, and some players are too, but if you take PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY for each and every death/loss, you will get better. Ask yourself "Why did I die? Did I need to die there? What could I <--- (not player xyz) do to keep it from happening again?" "Were they better than us, is that why we lost? No? Well then what could I <---- (not player xyz) have done differently?"

I main Jungle Sejuani, and it is EXCEPTIONALLY RARE that I come out of a game without having the most damage taken, 2nd or 3rd in damage done to enemy champs, and the fewest deaths on my team (typically either team, unless it was a total stomp). I always make sure my team has someone to follow up behind, and I make sure that I do the best job I can. When my game is off, I say "Hey guys.. i'm a little off for some reason, i'm gonna go farm for a bit and see if I can't get my mojo back"... you know what? Most people in a game will give you thumbs up for admitting you weren't perfect, and especially if you try to fix it.

The key to ELO hell, is to BE BETTER. IF you are a better player than your ranking, you WILL rise. You may drop 10 games in a row, but you will rise eventually.

DO WHAT I DID.... PLAY ADC AND CARRY YOUR TEAM!!!

Honestly, in Bronze, (Or in any solo que in my opinion) people like to focus on winning their lanes and nothing else. This is an ugly truth, but you have to roll with it. If you feel like your a better than the rank you have, don't play support. I've been playing support in silver, and really all I can do is try (thick emphasis on TRY) to keep my ADC from dying. This will not snowball your game in most cases. Usually, you have to depend on other lanes to do decent as well, and when that doesn't happen, your basically screwed. So my advice to you in bronze would be:

  1. Get a good duo partner. Having three pubbies that suck is better than having four.
  2. Try to get into a more influential role, such as Jungle or Mid, where you have more control on whether your wins teamfights, even if they refuse to communicate.
