Tips for normal games? I'm so nooby :'(

I'm pretty nooby at playing Leauge Amumu - I'll just say that straight out. Almost all games I've played were bot games. The few games I have played against real people, I totally failed. They were awful games. I think part of the problem is that I'm bad at League I've picked up some habits and such that work against bots, not real people. (damn you, people - people aren't stupid)

So anyway, my cry for help is what are some tips for playing normal games? DravenDravenDravenDravenDravenDraven

Practice playing Support. Trust me on this. While you may neglect the 'last hitting' mechanic, you will learn about League, its gameplay, mechanics, warding, communication, cooperation, laning, team fighting, positioning, helping the jungler gank, and a lot of other things. You just gotta bite the bullet and do it. Supporting is how I've come to understand League of Legends. Plus, it is not nearly as bad of a role as it use to be. Try it some time!

Also, a lot of the things you'll come to learn about League cannot be taught to you. League is an experience that you have to take on. What you take from it and do with that information is up to you. It's a self-teaching kind of thing. Best of luck to you, fellow Summoner!

Play normals until you are level 30.

Its going to be worse if you play bots to level 30 and than play level 30 normals

Have you tried playing against the new bots?

I would reccomend watching streamers or youtubers( not challenger / pro's, as you will not be able to understand much of what they mean), and just pick up on some basic mechanics there. IMO, a good streamer/ youtuber is one who is fun to watch, and gives commentary on why they do what they do.

Also, if you ever get destroyed in a game, go look at what you did wrong after

If you don't mind reading try this. Skim if you like, I tried making them as comprehensive as I can which means I'll probably have gone over some things you may already know.

just jump on in to normal games. It sucks for newish players because most of the time thats what they play is bots.

As a summoner from season 1, you have to find what spot fits you. watch videos or live streams of different champs. during season 1 and 2, i probably had a combined 800 games wins and losses with Ashe because i didnt want to branch out and try anyone new. but this game is all about teamwork and finding what role suits you best.

by continuing to play bots you are only limiting yourself imo. The biggest piece of advice is to just try it though. What summoner level are you anyway?
