Season 4 is more competative but stale

So far my experience in ranked gameplay in Season 4 has been that it is more competitive. The player base seems to be overall getting better at the game and that is a good thing. Unfortunately it is also the most tedious season yet.

Tedious because:

1. Fighters are monstrously strong, hard to kill with gap closers and extreme ultimates. 
2. Supporting isn't about supporting, it's about damage. 
3. ADC itemization is horribly standard. / . So unique, so exciting. 
4. Burst damage is king. No need to plan for a wombo-combo because it doesn't matter if you can melt everyone in .5 seconds. 
5. Team composition is less important than ever. 
6. Bans, too many OP champions to ban, not enough bans.

Maybe it's just me but the game is getting boring
