alright so back last week when caitlyn was free to play i went up against a jinx and i got this weird counter that tracked how many times i killed jinx and said something about criminals captured? not sure if anyone knows what this is or if it gives any buffs or anything but i was just curious about it because i cant seem to find anything about it.
It's related to their lore, in which Jinx is known for causing chaos in Piltover, the city that Caitlyn and Vi had kept free of crime for a long time. Going along with the lore, both Caitlyn and Vi earn a count on their buff for each time they "stop Jinx from causing chaos" (earning a kill or assist on Jinx). Vice versa, Jinx earns a count on her buff for "evading being captured" by Caitlyn and Vi in her mischievous deeds (earning a kill or assist on Caitlyn or Vi).
The buff itself is solely for bragging rights.
It does not give any buffs as far as i know. I believe the same thing happens when you play VI vs. Jinx

I think it's great. When I played Jinx against Cait -and- Vi on aram (lol), I got all the cops evaded counter.
It's just a little fun thing. No buffs or anything.
