Let's talk about a solution to duo/group trolls

Recently I've noticed a rash of toxicity and trolling coming from other summoners who are playing as part of a duo queue or larger premade group. I understand that when a person plays with their friends, they want to have fun. I am the same way. But that does not mean duo queue groups have a right to cross a line.

So, I have a proposition. I think that in the case of a duo pairing where either or both parties involved show a pattern of being reported (as in if you and a friend duo queue and you or both of you get reported twice or more in 3 out of 5 games played), these players should receive a penalty such as the Tribunal might hand down (a time ban), but also be removed from each other's friend lists and not be allowed to queue together for a certain period of time.

This seems like an adequate way of dealing with pre-made groupings that incite toxicity, and I think it would improve the playing environment. Please leave your feedback! I'd love to hear what others think of this proposal.

Personally, I haven't experienced any of these duo trolls. The duos I've played with did as good as any other teammate. Maybe its just my MMR or I'm just really lucky.

Sorry, but Riot shouldn't and the Tribunal shouldn't be allowed to determine who I do or do not have on my friends list. If they are being toxic, report them, and let the system do it's job, but adding in something like this is a bad policy and asking for trouble. Toxicity is going to occur in a free to play game, that's just how things work, but I have yet to see any compelling evidence that it is worse or occurs more frequently based off of premade status. Normals are going to have a less serious and competitive feel regardless of premades or not, this obviously doesn't excuse toxicity, but you have to few certain behaviors like anti-meta picks or strange lanes differently and realize that those sort of things aren't toxic.

The worst thing about them is that if they come in groups of 3-4 (has happened) you literally can't do anything. Your 1 report wont'count for shit if there is no one on your team to back you up. If you talk to them about their behavior you stand the risk of all of them reporting you.

And let's be honest. When has anyone on the tribunal not hit punish or skip? Granted this is for a good reason because 99.9% of the people that get reported enough to be in tribunal cases are dicks that need to be banned. But once the trolls start getting smart and play in groups of 3-4 people may have to start needing to use the pardon button.

Personally I trust the community in the tribunal to click punish when someone is clearly a huge troll. But if trolls continue to group I worry that they may not know when to pardon. And even worse that trolls might not even get sent to the tribunal anymore at all.
