Could Kayn be a potential MID laner???? if so what rank could one reach?
I want to try to see if i can exploit kayn MID and see how far I can reach.

according to tilterella you can play fucking anything into masters if youre a master player
legitimately, meta aside, if you can build a strat to make something get the gold it needs, and have a good reason to put it there, you can actually play anything anywhere after you learn the matchups
Kayn is a melee assassin with decent waveclear. He wouldn't be a terrible pick in the midlane.
There are a couple of issues I can see with him being played mid, though. For starters, his Q gets bonus damage against monsters, meaning your waveclear is significantly less in lane, but it also gives you an edge securing Scuttle. He will also rush Blue Kayn if he lanes against a mage, which is generally considered the weaker of the two forms and certainly the most situational.
If you can queue up with a friend who plays a counter-jungler that allows you to powerfarm the riverside monsters, I can see it being a pretty strong strategy. Having an Ivern or Nunu & Willump invade the enemy camps and support you in lane could let you quickly outscale the enemy midlaner.
Just get really good with Kayn's in's and out's. I know maxing w would be better if you are laning because of the reach and the CDs. Plus you can probably get to Blue Kayn so quick with the past changes for his passive stack so from there you can just roam and explode people.
