I theorycrafted a few different Lissandra support playstyles, including tanky, a few months ago. Eventually, I concluded that the best route is mobility catcher items. + core on Lissandra support. Aftershock is actually a fine route as Lissandra support in my experience. You can get decently tanky, but you'll never really feel tanky as Lissandra even if you build full tank. You really need mobility so that you can get away after deploying your CC in a fight. It's really hard not to feed when engaging as support Lissandra because she has a difficult time disengaging because she's so immobile. I think she's been buffed since I played her though.
