Hey guys! For me, League of legends is all about community and friendship. I started playing League of Legends back in Season One with my brothers. I didn't play my first Ranked game until Season Two, but to say I have grown up with this game puts it lightly. About four years ago, I shoutcasted a friends game for fun to give him a few laughs, and it just caught on. I started streaming my games, begging custom match lobbies to not kick me so I could cast their games.
While I love the game, the one thing I discovered that I don’t like about the League of Legends and the gaming community in general is the disturbing trend of toxicity, negativity, and tilting. But instead of joining in the downward spiral, or turning my back completely on the game I enjoy so much, I decided to fight back by creating XLNC. When I found a like-minded co-caster, Raith and I began to work together to build our own community of League players founded on three pillars… Positivity of thought, Excellency of character, and Kindness toward the community. These foundations have helped us create a fresh environment that keeps pessimism and caustic language out while at the same time inviting spirited play and friendly community all centered around League play.
The shoutcasting at XLNC brings an LCS style commentary to game play, with similar hype and fanfare you see on the pro circuit. But instead of being only open to an elite few, XLNC invites players from all skill levels… novice to Master ranking… to join the competition. We are passionate about bringing back the positive and entertaining side of the challenging game of League.
