XJ9's thoughts on Sanguine Blade | League of Legends | Not overpowered imo

Ignores 1v1 winning top lane forcing the enemy team to come fight him and give up the now even more valuable dragons

I mean I agree it is niche but so was and they removed that because it was to easy to abuse on certain champions.

The problem is if you gank someone (2v1) with and they get a kill now they gain all that attack speed an with the lifesteal can probably turn on the other person

This means that you probably want 3 people going to shut down the super attack speed top or or or because late game if you 1v1 a Darius with this item he will auto five stack you q you for half your health and dunk you, , etc etc.

Meaning AT BEST you somehow 2v1 the person and only have to deal with a potential 3v4 at worst it could be 2v4 or 1v4 because of how many people it could potentially take to stop the split pusher, because with this item they don't want to group, they want to sit in a lane and slap down towers and kill whoever comes to stop them. If no one does they get free objectives and with new conq being basically fervor of battle it makes it all the better to go run down 1 particular person.

So while its not op on every champion its op on enough champions that its problematic.

This changed my opinion, it has counterplay or at least can be played around. Much like if the enemy has stopwatch or something, which can be extremely impactful if you don't play around it.
