Greetings Forum!

My name is RiceCoolman (or LLamarama on YouTube) and I am very happy to announce this cinematic video on my channel, of which I hope to be the first of many over the course of the summer. Before anything else however, I would first like to dedicate a bit of time about the origin of the video. I’d like to make this absolutely clear from the get-go. I ** DO NOT** take any credit for the creative concept behind the video. That luxury belongs to a YouTuber named “Lillbabs”. His Planet Side 2 video “Flawed” inspired me greatly to create a similar video, but with League content instead. Yes, the song and editing style are indeed the same, but this is intended. On no account do I take credit for the concept however. I merely adapted it to the League style, to which my credit lies with the editing skills. I strongly recommend you watch his version too.

With that hopefully clear, I have a couple of points to bring up! With us all well into Season 5, I decided to create this video with the aim to identify the huge aesthetic change we’ve experienced this season. I also invite anyone who stumbles onto this post/video to give me their full opinion on the video. I realise this is a rather risky request, but I want to learn what it takes to create successful content in the future, and believe this can only be achieved by honest opinions from different people. That doesn’t mean to say the odd compliment isn’t appreciated in-between, I made sure to take my time on this and I’m thrilled with how this turned out. I have my own criticisms of the video, although I look forward to seeing any comments I might receive!

I have a shorter video in the works so be on the lookout for that on the forums too. Lastly, I may consider creating an in-depth tutorial on the process of replays/3D camera use if it is requested. Or I may just do it eventually anyway. We shall have to see :)

Sorry to bring you down: As a long time league player I found this very boring. There were many brief flashes of action with nothing to connect them, I was not engaged at any point. Also if I were a new player it would be impossible for me to tell what was going on... As a celebration of the aesthetic of League it works alright, but I think the viewpoint was too close most of the time.

I suppose what I am saying was that there just wasn't enough substance to the video. I don't see how others are saying it is so moving and beautiful; I felt nothing but boredom watching it. Maybe it was because I didn't care for the music.

That being said, the techniques you used were smooth and well done. I have high hopes for your future works. I hope the feedback is useful and not just a big bummer.

i suggest short champion exclusive videos for the future. with a catchy song and action shots just like this one!

Woke up this morning to find 20 likes on the video, over 300 views, and 20+ upvotes on this post! Thank you everybody that has watched and enjoyed the video, I couldn't have asked for a better reaction!
