No offense, but...
It's incredibly risky to use Bard's ultimate when both allies and enemies are close to each other like that. Usually it's better to use it from a distance to lock the enemy team down, or use it when you know your team wants to run away.
Also, on Summoner's Rift it can be used to stall dragons and tower dive.
