This sounds horrible... you delay your lvl 13 for no reason, literally the most important thing on GP is to get to lvl 13 without falling behind.
I can't think of a champion worse to share xp with.
If you want a GP as a carry just put him mid/top and pick double support bot. Add a tanky jungler/top and an AP Carry somewhere in there and you have a pretty decent hypercarry comp.
