**What is it? **The Plays.tv client records video of your gameplay and automatically creates highlights of all your key moments. You can jump straight to any K/D/A, multi-kill, dragon/baron kill, tower takedown, and more and watch it instantly. Each clip is automatically trimmed to only show the best part and is tagged with relevant #hashtags and summoner names to give the videos context. You’ll also get a notification on Plays.tv if someone uploads a clip you appear in. Post clips to your Plays.tv profile and simultaneously (and optionally) share them to Reddit, Youtube, Facebook, and Twitter.

What’s on Plays.tv? Plays.tv is a place to share your favorite moments with a community that appreciates them. Vid or it didn’t happen, right? :)

Is it free? Yes, 100% free.

**Are these replays? **No, these are recorded as videos in MP4 format from your POV, which means they can be shared instantly and won’t break after a game update.

How does it work? After a match, you’ll see a video with an interactive timeline of every key moment already bookmarked and clipped. Summoners who appear in the clips are automatically tagged along with the champions they used and some #hashtags highlighting key moments, such as #pentakill and #baronkill. You can add your own captions and hashtags as well.

How much space will it take up on my HD? By default, the client records at 720p and allocates 10GB for your videos (both are configurable); it will also automatically delete older and uploaded videos to help conserve space.

How do I get started? Just install the client and play -- recording starts (and stops) automatically. If you want to share your clips you'll need to create an account.

Which regions are supported? All regions except China and the Garena platform.

Does this work on Mac? Not at this time.

What's the FPS impact? Typically less than 3%. We use hardware-accelerated H.264 video encoding to ensure minimal impact. Note: People with old PCs may see up to 10%.

It looks interesting. I might download it and try it out.

Can you set it just to record highlights? Assists/kills for example ? Or do I have to scroll through my whole game to find my highlights ?

I have this, and it causes my game to crash. in 5.12 I was crashing (failed to create dump file 183 error message) almost instantly on getting into the game. I tried forcing it to patch again, deleting the logs, etc up to and including two full uninstalls of league. Nothing worked until I disabled plays.tv in my windows startup list (through msconfig). Then 5.13 came out, and plays updated and now (still disabled in startup) when plays.tv is running I can play the game but it still crashes (same error message) on victory screen. At least I'm able to play, but I also turned down my video settings during the tweaks and I'm afraid to turn them back up because I don't want to crash in another PVP game (it has no trouble in customs solo, haven't tried bots) to find out if that has an impact. It's definitely not hardware, I'm running dual Sapphire Tri-X R9 290X GPUs and they aren't even getting hot.

I wonder if this is more or less buggy than lol replay has been in the past.

Eventually i gave up on replay systems because they either A: cause your game to slow down. Like FRAPS or B: Cause your game to crash uncontrollably and freeze on the loading screen and login screen. Like LOLReplay.
