Yea, I wouldn't trust that one bit. Rioters have said pretty much the same thing every year for the past few years now and always end up scrapping it for one obtuse reason or another. Until they say "we have people working on some stuff for Wukong right now and will be hitting the PBE soon", It's best not to give your hopes up. Also important to note, he said "light work", which at the most would be level work, not a full on rework. Still would be nice to have, but again, wouldn't count those chickens before they hatch.

This actually makes me abit happy. Wu's one of my favorite Fighters in the game & it's good to see that they're giving him some love at some point.

Yeah. Its unlikely to be a rework. It's more likely to be light changes at a XinZhao level if not less.

Additionally, I can't help but feel like it's a strange choice of words: "Close the loop on the conversation for now." As far as I know, there hasn't been much in the way of conversation. The only point I can think of would be when Riot Maple was on Harambe's twitch, and while he made some relevant points on where he is weak, he wasn't super coherent or clear on what would be best for Wukong.

On the other hand, "light exploration, in the near future, no promises, will share when we have something" all make the response the vaguest, most non-committal sort of placation. I also don't have too high hopes on this.

However, now that Shojin no longer has that AD into DR passive, I know a certain monkey who would love to receive an already-coded and somewhat-tested replacement passive....
