I think Rek Sai needs two things to make him make more sense and work better, little buffs to get her back in the game without making her insta kill her targets as she knocks them into the air and shreds them before they hit the ground

One, if she is stunned while tunnelling, she gets the duration of her burrow on top of the stun, and it messes her up pretty bad. I think it's a bug, if it's intentionally its a bit nuts. One buff that would fix this and make sense. She should be untargetable while burrowing. I repeat, you should not be able to hit Rek Sai while she is tunnelling deep underground, it makes no sense that you can.

Also, in addition to a very slight speed buff, while she is underground "normally" she should get a defence buff. I am not saying make her a super tank, but she can't fight while burrowed, and often, even with tremor sense she can't hit targets right next to her, the speed buff would make it a bit more fair when she needs to get close or get away, and the defence buff to balance the loss of damage.

A lot of changes focus on giving her more or less damage, but changing these stats and shaving a little of her damage, would put her back where she should have been from the start, a smart engager and great for baiting, but not a support/tank/assassin/fighter who can do everything. Let her keep her DPS for that build, and give her the ability to get close or get away, diving into team fights and going nuts for a while before diving back underground and waiting for backup. But make her burst and CC limited and she can still only fight in limited scenarios .

I think more base damage on her bite but less AD scaling (and ofc keep the true damage), and reduced damage on her q, replaced with armour pen or shorter cd to improve her DPS when she dives in and goes nutts, but stops her from building into something too powerful. If no speed buff, a small slow from Q while underground.

I think RekSai should be a champ that does well 1v1 and 2v2, but in big team fights lacks the tankiness of say a Maokai or Volibear and has to smart play with back door plays, or catching out that loner who wonders too far from their team and too close to a tunnel
