Wukong is Actually Good With Unsealed Spellbook?!

Hey howsa goin everybody its kingkong back at the rift and i welcome you to a new video. Today i got something spicy for you guys. In this video I will talk about unsealed spellbook wukong. How good is it? Dat is the Question. So before dat video starts im gonna show you the runepage im talking about. Dat is the runepage if you wanna go and test it for yourself. Im gonna explain to you, why its not nessecarily trolling, maybe just a little bit but just lets get into dat and lets talk about it, why this page is actually good and why you should try it, regardless of wether you have success with it or not. The most Wukong players like to pick electrocute as the keystone and its definitly not bad. its a good rune on him, just like thunderlords in the previous season, so its make alot of sense, adds alot a burst to your kit and it really does work well, there is nothing wrong in electrocute. however if you wanna think outside the box a little bit and test some new stuff, i suggest to try unsealed spellbook. The one that allows you in the middle of the game change your summoner spells as soon as you go back to base. Why is this good? Why its not trolling? Why does it even work at all? To start of, lets just give three main reasons, why it can actually work. The first being that if you actually just go down the inspiration tree whatever you take whether it's glacial augment, unsealed spellbook or kleptomancy you do get the most ad or Ap adaptive for your champion if you go down inspiration and you go surcery second or domination you get 16 Attackdamage meaning that if you start a long sword you get 94 attack damage and if you start at doran's Blade you get 92 attack damage on wukong at level 1 its pretty damn good it's a lot of attack damage for your lainingphase and it makes you win trades pretty easily as far as other reasons on unsealed spellbook also reduces your summer spellcooldowns by 25% and if you actually continue to go down the inspiration tree as you are forced to do if you grab cosmic inside it also gives you another 5% summonerspellcooldownreduction meaning with lucidity boots your flash is on roughly a 3 minute cooldown which is very low and means that you can do a lot of work in teamfights you can create a lot of pics and even if you get behind you can constantly swap between your summoner spells it means that you get to dictate a lot of fights and this also means this build snowballs the hardest which leads into my third point being able to take ignite for lane, get First Blood and then switch to teleport and be a splitpushing monster or if they have a lot of hard CC switching to cleanse if you want to engage teamfights switching to Ghost potentially allowing yourself to reposition even barrier if You're afraid of a zed or you can take exhaust if you afraid of a vayne. a lot of things in a lot of options are available to you if you would like to switch to them that's the most important thing it's very versatile and you're not stuck in this I have tp the whole game and all I have is burst from electrocute. you can build much more effectively in differently based on what's going on in the game. that's what I really like about this. no I'm not necessarily just talking out of my own rear end here and I've actually tried it myself and it does work out pretty well for me yesterday I was able to win all 4 games that I try this and I did try a little bit before it as well and it seems to work out ok. so do I think wukongs are going to take this everywhere now this is the dominant keystone, you gonna see this in lcs, allorim is gonna whip this out, unseal spellbook wukong is this this the new brandnew metachanging thing? probably not only because it can be punished quite hard outside of Solo queue in the highest levels of play. if you start the game with ignite and you get camped level 2 and you're going to get set behind than you're really out of luck because of even try to switch back to tp you can't because you did not use any of your summer sharts and if you do use your Summers regardless than you cant tp back to lane because well you used it. you would have to give up your Flash or something in order for that to work so it is easy to camp it's easy to set it behind and that's the biggest thing about it if you're not very experienced with wukong you might get set behind in really hate trying to do this however the current meta does kind of favour this style you may not even switch back to tp at any point because in the current mirror the games are very fast anywhere between 20 and 25 minutes and there are a lot of forfits which means that if you do sit on your ignite because of the 30% summer spell cooldown reduction at level 1 with cosmic inside and taking unseal spell book your ignite is just a little bit over a 2 minute cool down and it gets even lower than two minutes with lucidity Boots mini that you can cheeze your Lane quite a bit you can even use ignite to poke somebody out if you really wanted to because it is just that short of a cool down. All im trying to say in this video is give it a try. Just be the innovator, try to think outside the box and don't conform to the electrocute wukong meta because that's what every other wukong player is doing and what's the fun in that what's the fun in copying everybody else? why dont you try something new if it's working for me in diamond games, it will probably work in your wood 14 games as far as what you're going to want to build there are few options for you in there are several different ways to play it and just test this as well try bunch of different builds the most important thing to understand is if you are gonna have ignite in Lane, sustain is going to be very important for you I would not recommend for you to start longsword. I would recommend either doransblad or doransshield. the doransblad gives you 3% lifesteal and the doransshield gives you that passive for you to heal up in Lane so taking these doransitems, if you gonna go doransblade get yourself 2 doransblade. This runepage is even good in the jungle. because of the summonerspell cooldownreduction and the bisciut you get every few minutes, you will have absolutly no problems in the jungle. You can easy clear the camps and stay even longer in the jungle and get your level six sooner.
