How could my Lee, with these mechanics, be stuck in low Gold??

Hey guys,

I made a lee montage for myself showing some of my best plays in S7. With these mechanics, I honestly think I should be in at least high Gold. But I have been losing so many Lee games lately..sad....I know that overall Lee is not in the meta, but can anyone give me some quick tips which can easily enhance my lee win rate by a significant amount? IDK what I could be doing wrong..For items I usually rush Tiamat first back, given that I can usually have a successful early gank. Then I will keep farming till lv6 and gank the second time. I like building warriors second, and then directly rush Deadman or Maw depending on the matchup.

First off, League is not a mechanics game, it's a strategy game. Second, being able to flash-kick and ward-kick on Lee Sin is not exceptional mechanics, it's what's expected as a baseline.

However, I want to emphasize the first point - Most of these plays look flashy for you, but often times it doesn't result in your team cleanly wiping the enemy. In a few of them you make a big kick and not much comes of it. This is why League is a strategy game - it's not about doing the mechanics, its about the time and the place. This is why Riven players have a reputation for throwing games, because they focus so much on mechanics on not when and where they should be using said mechanics.

If you want to get into Platinum you need to understand winning strategy, not winning mechanics.
