Do you only earn BE by leveiling up and not just by playing matches?

Well, leveling up and Hextech Chests, but yes. :)
Isn't it a lot harder to be able to buy more expensive champions that way?
Also one more question, like. Will it become harder and harder to level up each time you do, or will like.. The EXP you need to earn stay the same for each level? I don't know how to explain it well. xD
