Ultimate & Mythic Chest Unlock Compensations

I might be a little behind the curve since I just skimmed the 8.5 patch notes after forgetting to read them last week, but i'm not a happy camper.

Ultimate and Mythic skins are automatically unlocked now?

> BIG DROP, FREE UNLOCK Ultimate and Mythic skins will now drop as auto-redeeming permanents (no orange essence required to upgrade them). If you already own the skin, you'll be able to disenchant the permanent for orange essence.

I was extremely luck with my chests and unlocked DJ Sona , Spirit Guard Udyr, and Pulsefire Ezreal all from chests (I bought Elementalist Lux with RP). With DJ Sona, I had enough OE laying around to unlock her right away, however I waited MONTHS...actually, I am pretty sure I waited a YEAR and even spent leftover RP towards chests to get OE for Udyr and Ez (which also sucks because you aren't guaranteed to get an item that gives OE in chests).

And now anyone who unlocks them gets them for FREE? No waiting period, no lower OE amount...just FREE? And those that spent the outrageous amount of OE, disenchanted legendary skins to work towards ultimate skins, etc get NOTHING back? The ultimates were so hard to unlock. x.x

Riot please, is there no way you can give compensation for these Ultimate/Mythic skins that weer already unlocked?
