I keep getting reported for losing lane to aatrox as tryndamere

Apparently I'm supposed to counter him but the two times I've tried I've literally got aatrox's foot shoved so far up my ass it's coming out of my mouth. Since both my teams in those two games assert it's common knowledge that tryndamere counters aatrox, I have come here, to you GD, to ask you... how exactly am I supposed to play this matchup?

Literally just go in on him. His Q damage is honestly worthless at point blank until the 3rd hit, so you can wail on him for a while. Even if he's facing you, use your W to lower his AD and thus damage.

But really, just go in on him. He's escapeless and extremely squishy.

Try get Tiamat first, and build taibi. Also try spin on him lvl 1 and start aa’ing him. Hopefully you can get some crits. Or build fury and spin into/away him when he tries to do his 1st or 3rd q.

If he's hitting you with his Q edge, you're not going in on him. If you're not literally on his face 24/7 in this matchup you're wrong.

Forget the minions, forget everything. Just remember this is the fiend that GAVE YOU THAT UNDYING RAGE.

Aatrox has no back can't carry loads later on

In one of the discord servers I’m in, this sparked an argument about aatrox. If you can add me on discord @Aidam808 THEGREAT#4389 I can send you screen shots of what they said

Strange. I picked the real aatrox and even this version of him as a counter to trynd. Then again, you outscale him. I can safely say that if you want to beat him, then you just need to wait for your opportunity. Go in on him after he has used his Q's, spin out of his w (sideways or diagonal if you can) if you took a bad trade. His ultimate is probably the one thing that can mess you up since it can counter yours if played right. Vise-versa. My suggestion to you is to take advantage of the fact that he is now a spell caster and so if he misses those spells, then you bully him. Ignite in lane can also work to deal with the life steal. On a final note, since he now benefits more from building tanky, it's best that you be wary of how much time you put into these trades since reinforcements could be nearby.

P.S. I don't play much of trynd but I know my stuff when it comes to my Darkin.
