Almost like you forgot to mention the fact she's also losing 5 MS. I understand the nerfs are probably still not enough, BUT you are only showing half the nerfs.

was a thing they thought nerfing meditate, a healing ability, would cause him to do less damage. <.< They also took away his resets even though that was an assassin thing and still is for some. [His ult used to reset remember? XP] Turns out people could just cc him and kill him [zombie-brand-facepalm] it was the alphastrike damage and the resets which really bothered people. But rather than tuning that down they threw it away cuz 'too hard to balance'.

With the MS nerf she's getting, her damage is cut down a bit more than what it seems. She loses power on her autos, just as a base, and loses damage from building %MS items.
Movement speed nerf as well by the way.

Imagine if her winrate goes down because of this guys. Like, imagine if that 5 damage actually made the difference between getting a kill and them escaping. Imagine if that kill was responsible for winning the game. That'd be hilarious.
They also lowered her MS, which will affect how much MS her passive and passive give her, which in turn will affect how much damage she does

5 damage off of her W and 5 movespeed. Janna always goes celerity, so the movespeed nerf is also slightly nerfing her by reducing the total AP that's going into every one of her abilities and runes. It doesn't look big until you account for the butterfly effect. It's actually a decent nerf. She'll probably still have one of the highest support win rates, but she's almost always been like that because her kit is simple and has great synergy with... everything.
Imagine they actually balance Janna... Where will all those Janna abusers go? Those players that climbed up to dia+ by spamming her shield and clicking on the ground, they'd just lose every game. Chaos.
people complain about janna because her utility from lvl 3 until lvl 18 is tremendous. i main her, but let me tell you how easy a nami or soraka can in 12 seconds get the ADC back at full health during laning phase. Janna can't do that. let me tell you how predictable her tornados are, how irrelevant the damage from w is because the SLOW is much more important. at lvl 1 a Sona with support item at 23 AP and with a single Q and auto deals more than Janna's half of HP. let me tell you how annoying Soraka's Q damage, slow, and cooldown is. Let me tell you how annoying Soraka's 3 second W gets an ADC to full health in 6 seconds. let me tell you how annoying tank supports are that build mobis, have 3 CC abilities, build redemption for healing, and can easily carry their team to victory and crush Janna, in early mid and late. a good janna player will do her job, a good soraka will do her job, a good leona will still do her job. a good zed will do his job, a good shaco will do his job. i've seen NUNU carry games with 12 KDA and no one is complaining about the fact that nunu carried the specific game because that would be embarrassing, right? to feed a nunu? but the fact that janna stands at an above 52% winrate and has had OVER 20 nerfs after her release, while she is a SUPPORT, for me at least it doesnt mean SHE is the reason the games are victories. its true, a good redemption or a good Monsoon can be game changing, but that's not the champion at all, but the decisions the player makes. you can play a champion that is at 60% winrate and you can still lose with it, just because you can't play it properly. of course thats just my 2 cents, but as long as her kit stays the same and they only nerft dmg stats, she will still have a high winrate.

Isn't that aspect of her skill the least used component in her kit? I mean, the main boon of that spell is the passive speed boost to allies in the area and then the slow on cast. A more reasonable nerf would have been to go after her shield, either the flat rate or the scaling. But Riot balance team knows best I suppose.
