Should players that dont have Smite not be able to damage camps without asking.

So for the last 3 consecutive games I've been getting players that go out of their way to keep me from able to get xp and gold from the camps by stealing them. Then they blatantly say "I'm doing your job for you" or "I'm not stealing camps".

Basically make it so if they don't have summoner 11 . They cant damage the camp with out asking first.

I get it, you could take a camp if you need to get like 100 gold or something, but at least say why or ask first. Don't just take multiple camps and never give a reason or worse just keep taking them.

Make it like a ping or something, to where if it isnt the person with Smite itll popup a window (Similar to the surrender window) on the jungler's screen and they can click yes and then you can hurt the camp or they say no and you cant.

Cause otherwise they'll just keep taking camps and keep you from leveling, (I got 6 levels behind cause they took camps, and if I went to a lane. they went there and killed the minions.)

(Yes i could have just reported and went on, which i did till the 3rd game.)

There's a major host of problems trying to implement "permissions".

  • Invading
  • How to make it fluid
  • Steals against invaders
  • Dragon/Baron issues
  • Late game when the buff shouldn't automatically go to the jungler
  • Leashing

A pop up isn't going to solve most of these, and more often than not asking permission to preserve a buff for your side (either by invade or stopping invaders) is going to cause problems. Leashing would also be problematic since the lane champion(s) giving you a leash will need permission to do so.

You're just moving the problem a bit. Now they won't be taking your camps, they'll just be spamming a fucking popup on your screen. LOL. The real solution is don't play with morons that troll. I mean this is so rare anyways it shouldn't be an issue, if you're getting people doing this to you then you should evaluate what has caused them to do it. If the answer is you typed something to piss them off maybe don't do that. Can tell you that if you don't talk to them at any point in time they tend not to hard troll you. Something usually happens to make them focus on you. Maybe nothing did and they wanted jungle but got autofilled so trolled you but that's out of your control so just ignore it. forget that game happened and move on.
