It's the time again... but for a sad reason.

Everyone's favorite Shingetsu is leaving you again, I'm afraid. Normally it's because the games I play professionally are entering tournament season. This time, it's because League is officially finished. They've broken the game beyond repair and there's no hope for it now... The changes of the past four or five season have been so polarized, so intense, and so ill-planned that they've finally managed to fundamentally tear the foundations of the game itself apart. There's no coming back from this... Not with a single pre-season patch. It would take years of rebuilding the game to fix it now.

If Riot makes something new, I'll probably come back and give it a try. Something truly new, not just auto chess. (Seriously guys, is your WHOLE CAREER gonna be based on following the ideas of modders, or are you going to actually innovate on your own for once? You have so much creativity and you're only using a quarter of it.) Until then, this is farewell. To all my Bronze-Gold friends, keep heart and stand proud! You're the core of this game. You're why League exists. Never let anyone make you feel like trash because you're not Diamond! Bare your fangs and hold to whatever you personally find fun about this game, forget how you're told to play. You're the 83% who keep this game going, and there's no one from Riot's offices to LCS pros more important to this game than you.

It's been fun! I've had a lot of really amusing arguments on here over the years and my English has gotten this good partially because I was able to practice it with all of you. Yet, as they say... Maitoshi haru, aki ga tsudzukimasu. It's time to embrace autumn and find the new spring.
