"Disenchant" Mastery for Blue Essence
Why not have a system implemented where a player can "disenchant" their mastery on a champion in order to gain more blue essence. As most people know, the current system actually takes longer to gain blue essence. This solution might not be that much better, but I think it would be an interesting system (similar to prestiging in shooters). Here's my thought:
- The champion must be mastery 5 or above to be eligible for "disenchant."
- The amount of blue essence received is determined with the following formula (which can be re-scaled but I think this is the most appropriate): ((# of mastery points) / 100) * (mastery level)
- The champion (if previously on top 3 champions played) will still show up on the profile but will now have a new emblem with the mastery points resetted
Any thoughts on this?
