I have been playing middlesticks since 2011 and there have been lots of games where I've played fiddle really well in mid, because I love to one trick with him. I know I wont get banned for playing new things, but if i don't listen to my teammates who are bitching and enforcing their meta garbage down my throat, can those bans trigger a flag and get me banned?
Ofc not, I've actually found that while smurfing on my eve onetrick account, that bad things often happen when I listen to teammates and cave to the spam pings instead of listening to my gut.
No, you can do what you think is the best, you dont have to listen to your teammates. Except maybe if you are inting and they tell you to stop, then its probably bannable not to listen to them.
no i saw people saying kys and inting and other things that SHOULD lead to ban but didn't so why you should?plus really keep playing fidd and get out silver you can
Riot has actually posted in their report FAQ that you shouldn't report people for playing out of meta, because they won't follow up on it.

1: You dont verbally express your disgust towards them (Infact, As i've said before, Mentally pry off that "Enter" Key)
2: You Dont "Run it down mid" Simply because your team are a group of asshats
3: You actually try to play the game
