A Top Laner Looking For Advice

Sad Toplane Main·4/20/2019, 4:40:17 AM·1 votes·980 views

So, I started playing this game around the beginning of season 7, I distinctly remember Xayah And Rakan being released not long after I began playing. I had played a lot of Dota before transitioning to LoL, and I thought I would be able to learn this game rather quick. Pretty obvious at this point, but that's not the case. My pinnacle of achievement in this game is reaching Gold 1 last season, spamming nothing but Gangplank top lane. I loved GP, mostly for his safe lane, global presence, and power farming ability. But, after maining him for so long, I've gotten tired of playing him so much.

It sounds silly, but i think i'm having trouble understanding how most traditional top laners actually win games. As of right now, I play mostly Aatrox top, with some hints of tanks,Nautilus Sion Ornn and the occasional different bruiser, Olaf Trundle And i'm having an absolutely miserable time winning games. I've gone over my runes, general build, and strategies in lane with many other people who play top lane, and I still haven't improved as much as I'd like to. What i'd really like to know is: What is a bruiser's win condition? It certainly isn't anything i've been doing.

Aatrox

tanks cant win games atm naut is a decent ick over al lthough if you are in a duo sion is decent but still not the best with the current tops in the game. Olaf is the best pick imo of the ones you have in your champ pool. also orn is garbage atm in terms of top lane i would recommend switching it up a bit i havent checked your elo but Riven Vladimir Sylas Urgot Darius are decent picks with how current top is you want to be on champs that do a lot with a simple kit or are a little stacked with the scaling. im not high elo but i keep track of wahts being played and why
