At first I liked it, but then afterwards I started to hate the show. It was basically the Rachel Berry Show where the only person who mattered in the whole world was Rachel and she could be a horrible person all she wants and gets away with just about everything. She never matured as an adult, she still threw unrealistic tantrums and made horrible decisions throughout the entire show. Her voice wasn't that great either, but we had to be forced to hear her belt out every solo ever until Mr. Shue felt sorry for the other members he neglected. The only time I gave a flip about Rachel was when she started acting more like a human after Finn died but that's about it. She didn't really change much at all and stayed statically a privileged spoiled brat who got everything handed to her.

I hated Mr. Shue other than the times he was shirtless. Mr. Shue is basically an older male version of Rachel Berry. He did not care about anyone else unless they benefited him. He treated his students and glee club members like garbage and kept enabling Rachel. He was pretty rude and selfish all the time and made all of the glee club members back up singers for Rachel. I thought he was a perfect match for Vocal Adrenaline because he is one of the most cutthroat assholes out there. He friggin suspended a girl who had eating disorders and passed out on stage because she didn't want to wear a revealing outfit. He doesn't care about his students; he only cares about winning.

I didn't like the Kurt + Blaine combo. They are not good fits for each other. Maybe it was the not so convincing acting but they never actually looked like they loved each other all the time. Kurt is a jerk and treats Blaine terribly such as leaving him alone when he went to New York and kept breaking up with Blaine and Blaine has a clingy intimacy issue where if he is left alone for some time he will bone someone.

My favorite character was Sue. She was a bit crazy, but she had a lot of character development that most of the other characters never had. You get to see different sides of her personality and that underneath all that crazy psychotic rage she is actually a decent person. She had every right to hate the Glee Club because the club was full of incestuous teenagers who don't care about their futures except who will screw the other person first.

I hated a lot of the character development (or lack of) throughout the show. A lot of the kids you get to see only for a few episodes actually say something and for the rest of the episodes they don't exist and are replaced with back up singer robots. Some character arcs were unbelievable or rushed such as Roderick and Alistair who basically became a couple in 2 episodes and that was it, nothing else happened after that. It feels like the longer the show goes on, the more soulless the characters became.

For me, the worst part of the show is how they tried to incorperate celebrities into minor non-integral roles who themselves are far better than the show itself. Neil Patrick Harris (arguably one of the best comedic actors of the 21st century) got stuck in a depressing dramatic side-role which looked to be only put in place for a duet, Gwynneth Paltrow (or however the hell you spell her name) was put into a side role that didn't influence the story at all, even Molly Shannon (who in my opinion is the greatest female SNL alumni of all time due to her overall influence on female comedy) got roped into silly fart-gag humor. The only person who kinda benefitted off of it was Jane Lynch, and even then it was just her doing the same thing she's done in every other movie/tv show with little overall change.

So is it just a bunch of gay relationships?
