My friends believe that with the rise of other games and genres such as; Fortnite: Battle Royale, that the LoL player base is going down. So adding in more tiers without an expediential increase in the player base will make ranked a worse experience overall which is making them not want to play ranked at all. Although they don't know or haven't read about the changes cause they don't care enough and are lazy. I think that with splashing and mmr linking and overall better matchmaking, if it goes as said by rioters, ranked will be a lot better and fairer. Unless people pick champions that are worse than the meta and have little to no experience on them, but I suppose that can't be helped. But maybe decreasing the time penalty for dodging would make that better, at least for me lol. Or having a vote option to close out the lobby, or tuning the remake surrender vote to always be accessible and no one got punished for a remake. cause taking the wrong runes or not having smite sucks, especially when the person who made the error won't afk for the remake. so yeah :D

I really don't like the new system, but if it goes as planned and auto fill is reduced to a minimum it may not be the worst. Only really poor part is that sometime i switch roles, and I hate that my ladder would change with it. Guess we'll just have to pick a role and stick with it if we want to climb, because otherwise you're fucked.

I don't like the different ranks for different roles. What if someone gets autofilled and then is able to swap roles with a teammate? And if they aren't able to swap roles, what's to stop the autofilled person from just not trying or troll picking, since it won't affect their main role rank.

Im not playing again until this game actually requires skill. Instead of this "one shot the enemy first" bullshit. Its not fun, no skill, no strategy. Everyone is just running around like headless chickens. Creep Score rarely even matters anymore because people at level 11 can still 1v1 a lvl 13 with 2k more gold than the lvl 11 because of damage being too high.
